BitDefender Family Pack 2023 has to be the ultimate security solution.
Why? On your PC, it takes Bitdefender Total Security 2023, the premier security suite and adds even more flexibility, enabling you to licence for the household. This means anyone within your local network, whether they own a PC, Mac, iOS or Android device, and irrespective of how many devices they own can activate a single copy of Family Pack 2023. It's that flexible.
How does that differ from a regular copy of Total Security 2023? Buy a 10-device version of Total Security and it's still limited by on licensing function: it enables only one person to activate 10 devices. Where Family Pack differs is that it offers everyone on your network to activate whatever they like.
Other than the very flexible licencing, you get everything you'd expect from Total Security. A powerful mix of antivirus, firewall, browsing protection, parental controls, anti-theft system, encryption and password manager.
New features include a Webcam Protection module which notifies you when apps try to access your webcam and block unauthorised usage.
"Advanced Threat Defense" is a new technology which tries to identify suspect processes from their behaviour, keeping you safe from the very latest malware.
The "Safe Files" modules protect selected files from unauthorized changes. Right now this is available for Mac only, but it'll be arriving for Windows soon.
The Bitdefender Firewall makes it easier for users to understand and use the module and includes a brand new interface, too.
Note that 'Family Pack' will protect up to 15 devices, across your, your family and friends computers or devices, whether these are PCs, Mac, iOS or Android.
Includes a 15-Device, 2-Year licence.
Most system performance issues are often a result of other software clashing with your brand new software. For instance, security software can clash with a background process, such as a system maintenance tool or defragmentation software. Another cause of system slowdown, is a result of two software applications performing a similar task. As an example, Windows includes a firewall switched on as a default. Your new security suite is likely to include a firewall. You only need one firewall running. In this example, try turning off your system firewall.
Uninstalling Your New Software
Occasionally you may need to either temporarily or permanently remove your new software.
On a Windows computer, go to the Control Panel and choose Programs and Features. Locate the program within the list, then click it to highlight it. Finally, click the Uninstall button at the top of the list and follow the instructions to remove the program from your PC.
On an Apple Mac computer, using Finder, locate the Applications folder. Within the Applications folder, find the name of the application you wish to remove. Simply drag the icon to your Trash icon in your dock. Empty the Trash to remove the files from your computer.
